Our Mission
Our mission is to assist tenants in transitioning from their old units to a newly renovated unit with ease.
We are dedicated to making your relocation experience as smooth as possible.
Because of the extent of the renovations, it will be necessary for all residents to temporarily
relocate to vacant on-site or off-site units for the duration of the construction period. Currently,
projected, all residents will be temporarily relocated in multiple phases. Each phase would
consist of the rehab of selected units with all interior renovations to be completed within 9-12
months. The Relocation Team will secure host units for all households to live in during their
temporary relocation, which may be on-site, within a McAllen Housing Commission property or
another property located by the Relocation Team. Temporarily relocated residents will be
required to sign a Temporary Transfer of Occupancy agreement with Management with respect
to the temporary relocation if off-site and be required to comply with the terms of their original
Orchid Place lease. While living in the temporary host unit, residents need to continue paying the
rent under their lease directly to Neighborhood Alliance Management unless told otherwise.
Residents are also expected to comply with all other parts of their lease agreement during their
temporary relocation.
